How to become Superman in 12 weeks
Updated | By Darren Maule
The "Man of Steel" movie is around the corner and Darren for one wants to get his body ready for the costume.
Darren writes:
Do you remember when I did my weekly weigh-in on air every Wednesday?
I went from the fattest I have ever been in my entire life (101.6 kilo's) all the way down to East Coast's frequency in Richards Bay (96.4 kilo's.)
Now I have pulled an Oprah and Yoyo-ed back up to 100.2 kilos. Time for professional intervention.
Enter The Floro Strongheart foundation in association with the Prime human performance institute at Moses Mabhida who have challenged me to a 12-week programme to get me super fit and hopefully super looking.

This programme is available to everyone and it starts with a full and comprehensive medical check up with a resident physician, complete with blood tests.

Then they rig you up on this EEG machine and a VO max breathing analyzer normally reserved for peak performance athletes to test your fitness but more importantly your recovery rate. (I was there - overnight - recovering)

And now this is my back yard for an hour, three times a week for the next three months in my quest to inch ever closer to my natural state of near super human proportions.
