Eskom power update: 13 March '15
The Power utility says there's a high probability of load shedding this evening.
It says any unexpected changes on the power system could lead to power cuts at short notice.
This weekend's prognosis will be announced later today.
Yesterday Eskom chairman, Zola Tsotsi announced that four of its executives including its CEO, Tshediso Matona have been suspended for three months, pending an inquiry.
Last Monday, it said unit six at its newly built Medupi power station in Limpopo produced power for the first time.
Eskom urged consumers to use less electricity.
