Drunk driving still common in SA
Updated | By Sihle Mthembu

The AA says that a lack of education and enforcement is the reason why drunk driving is still too common in South Africa.
They say it is still way too common to hear drivers claim that they are safe to drive after drinking.
People don’t realize that aside from being at a risk and putting others at risk, a crash victim under the influence also presents a challenge to medical stuff by complicating treatment.
I have never been a fan of drunk driving.
I am the type to leave my car at the jol, take an cab and find a way to get my car the next day.
Let’s be honest, a lot of people will drink and say “I am a cautious driver,” or “I drive better when I’m drunk”.
Guys, don’t drive drunk. It’s really irresponsible.
