Cindy van Wyk was violently attacked by a neighbour’s bull terrier while she was visiting her friend who lived in a granny flat on someone else’s property. 
 
According to Cindy, the owner of the dog let the animal loose before going off to work and as she left her friend’s house, she was attacked and bitten on her hands, legs, crotch and stomach. (see pictures below) 
 
She tried contacting the owner but, she says, he refuses to accept any responsibility.
 
She has been severely incapacitated after this incident and says she suffered physical and mental injuries and loss of earnings because of it. And the police say she has no recourse.
