Dog and cat adoptions!
Updated | By Abi Ray
We have had such a great response to this weekly post about animals looking for new homes that are filled with love and care.
Too often people don't realise just HOW many pets are looking for homes, due to abandonment, abuse, or due to them being surrendered by their former owners, for whatever reason.
So this is a space to show you some faces who need a second chance at life.
Please remember that there will be a compulsary home check, and an adoption fee, should you want to adopt one of these animals.
Shelter dogs and cats just seem to have an extra bit of love to give, so adopting one could possibly be the most fulfilling thing you do.
1. Bell - Phoenix Animal Care & Treatment
Bell is 7months old and has been spayed and vaccinated. She was being stoned and hurt on the streets until we rescued her. She is safe for now and is just the most loving and playful kitty.
We are really trying desperately to get Bell adopted. Please, if you have a small place in your home and your heart consider adopting Bell and she will love you forever.

2. Cleo - Puppy SOS KZN
Cleo's owner handed her over to the kennels last week. She is about 5 years old and she had really bad tooth decay. She has since seen a vet and had a few teeth removed and a clean-up and has been vaccinated and sterilized.
She has such a loving sweet nature and does not deserve to go back to the kennels.
She is a chow x.
Please, if anyone can give this girl a loving home or can foster her for a while until we can find her somewhere permanent.
She has such an easy going personality and gets on well with other dogs and is very loving around children.
Let’s find this girl somewhere to call home.

3. Ginger cat - SPCA Toti
This beautiful adult female ginger and white cat was found abandoned by one of our volunteers. She has a lovely outgoing and very independent personality. She would probably be best if in a family with very few animals or even better off as the only cat. Only available to be adopted in the Durban Area.
Please call us on 031 904 2424/5 or email us on [email protected] for more information.
4. Male terrier - SPCA Toti
We have this handsome young adult male cross breed. He has a very loving nature. He loves human company as well as that of his companion dogs. He is full of energy and is very alert. He gets along with most dogs. Only available to be adopted in the Durban Area.
Please call us on 031 904 2424/5 or email us on [email protected] for more information.
5. Kasper, Kariba & Kuma Bear - 4 Paws & A Tale Rescue
All boys, in foster care, waiting for loving homes. They are about 8-9 weeks old now, very playful, curious and loving!
They are available for adoption in the Durban and surrounding areas and South coast down to Margate
