Despite the odds - love shines through
A friend of a remarkable couple wrote in to the Big Favour with a beautiful request...
"Hi, my name is Juandre. My friend Megan has one wish … that she gets to marry the man of her dreams - Nico, who has stage 4 cancer. They were due to get married next year, but the cancer has spread throughout his body. He is currently receiving treatment but his health is uncertain. Due to medical expenses they are unable to afford the dream wedding they wish for. They have brought the wedding forward to October 2013, and have been asking friends and family to please contribute to décor etc to make their wedding day special. They are a young couple of 24 and 25 years. We really want to make their special day unforgettable, where the hardships they are facing are forgotten. We were wondering if anyone could help make the venue look like it is part of a fairytale wedding that they so truly deserve."
