Our eyes and ears in the Palace of Justice in Pretoria is Khatija Nxedlana. She reported that advocate Barry Roux's sarcasm was not appreciated by the judge: he went "too far" in his cross examination of Charl Johnson.
Another day of drama - this is what The Breakfast team learned during Day 3 of the Oscar Pistorius trial.
There was an awkward moment in the court room as Judge Masipa asked a journalist to explain herself after her loud pop-ups from her laptop interrupted court proceedings.
Gauteng Premier and the ANCWL attended the trial to show support to Steenkamp family.
Franaaz Khan, from the UKZN law faculty, joined us on air and gave her expert advice on the day’s proceedings.
Franaaz explained what one has to show and do for someone to be convicted of murder under South African law.
And she explained why Barry Roux was trying very hard to show that Michelle and her husband Charl Johnson discussed evidence –and if this is shown, how damaging it could be for the State’s case.
