Damon superbly pranks Rory!
There is usually a great deal of work that goes on behind the scenes on The Drive with Damon, or with the majority of radio shows, for that matter. Sometimes, this paves the way for the perfect prank call.
No denying there is undoubtedly more fun than work, but now and then we really sweat when things get a little tricky and deadlines loom relentlessly.
My producer, Rory likes to get it right all the time.
As you're about to hear, Rory had been struggling for a while to arrange the delivery of prizes for a certain promotion we ran.
So, I decided to take full advantage of his current stress with a little phone call.
Rory claims his two years' experience in the complaints department of a call centre in Southampton comes through during this call!
He starts to lose his rag just a little towards the end! We'll call it 'stroppy and sarcastic!'
What do you think? Did Rory handle it well? What do you think of my on-the-spot Aussie accent?
We'd love to hear your thoughts. Leave them here or on our Facebook page.
