Crystalene's mum is over the moon!
SA Idols fans in KZN are beaming from ear to ear.
The top 10 contenders on the singing show have been announced and - thanks to your votes - Durban teacher, Crystalene Nair is one of them.
The Breakfast Stack spoke to her mum, Chantal Nair, this morning to chat about how they're doing and how they feel about their talented 24-year-old.
She first told us they didn't expect their daughter, a primary school teacher, to make it this far in the competition.
Chantal says Crystalene, who drove judge Unathi to tears during her audition in Durban earlier this year, also delivers moving renditions at home.
Chantal also says there is someone special in Crystalene's life but they're not about to tie the knot just yet.
