Celebrity hits on underage girl
Actor James Franco apparently tried to hook up with a 17 year-old girl from Scotland named Lucy. Their alleged Instagram text messages were leaked online… Take a look.
Reports say that James Franco tried to organise a hotel room for him and a 17 year-old teen visiting from Scotland.
Franco and Lucy met each other at Fanco's Broadway show, Of Mice and Men and managed to take an Instagram video of him.
She later tagged him on Instagram - this is where the flirtatious messages started between the two.
In these messages Franco is suggesting that they should get a hotel room together after he knew how old she was.

The screenshots could possibly be fake, but Lucy managed to get prove that it was really James Franco when he sent her two sets of photos of himself.
When the texts went viral, Franco quickly tried to defend himself on twitter saying:

It has been suggested that this entire affair could be a publicity stunt to promote his new movie Adaptation
If this is the case then it could either result in excellent publicity for the actor or it could completely backfire in his face!
