The best own soccer goals scored

I know the Rugby World Cup is just around the corner and a lot of hype is surrounding it but football is the most followed and watched sport in the world.

My personal favourite League is the Barclays Premier League.

To me it’s like a soapie from August to May. Anyone can bet anyone. Try going to Stoke City on a Monday night if you a Manchester United or a Chelsea.

To many the result is obvious but no it’s not as easy as you think and that’s the beauty of the BPL.

Now usually we all go mad and excited when we see spectacular goals and stuff but have you ever wondered about the best ever own goals?

Embarrassing for the player yes, but quiet entertaining if you on the other end as a spectator.

Now I’ve dug up some of the best ever own goals scored and I mean BEST and believe it or not some of them would also make it into the best goals scored, they that good.
