Animal sex fetish video shock

Animal sex fetish video shock

The online craze of "crush videos" has left Jane Linley-Thomas shaken.

I am shocked to my core at the macabre and sadistic craze of squishing innocent creatures while having sex – and then posting the videos online.

On Saturday, the Weekend Argus newspaper ran a story about two Cape Town high school girls who have been implicated in an animal sex fetish video, called “Squishing Nemo”.

The video shows one of the girls, who goes by the alias ‘London’, engaging in a sexual act with a man, while the other girl places a live fish under her foot. The paper reports that London then stamps on the fish repeatedly, killing it, before continuing to have sex. This video, as well as others, are apparently hosted on a porn site dedicated to the so-called “crush videos”.

According to Wikipedia, in crush videos the fetishist usually kills the animals either barefoot, in high-heels or in flip flops.

The "Squishing Nemo" video has reportedly gone viral and has been shared via social media.

Crush videos sometimes involve other small animals; last year a video showing three young girls stomping a small puppy to death surfaced in the Philippines.

Every day I am more and more distressed at how apparent it is that people, in particular young kids and young adults, are being lost down the dark rabbit hole of online misuse.

It's at times like this I want to bundle my three kids up and head for the open nothingness of the Karoo where communication happens by smoke signal.

Creative parenting expert Nikki Bush has weighed in on the topic.

She said protecting your children from harm is just as important online as it is in the real world.

Nikki went on to say that as a parent, you can play an important role in helping children have safe and positive experiences online.
