An elephant at a wildlife park in Germany, called Nelly, has predicted that Germany will suffer defeat at the hands of Team USA, despite America’s 100-1 odds of winning it all. 
 
A video published by the Associated Press shows her kicking a soccer ball into one of two goals, each marked with the name of a competing country.

A pet product company in the UK has recruited the services of Roo the psychic bulldog. He’s predicted that England will beat Italy in their opening match on 14 June. 

He was presented with three bowls filled with doggy biscuits and immediately went for the one that had a picture of the England flag stuck on the front. 
 
China’s relying on a team of baby pandas to predict World Cup scores. Authorities at a breeding base in a south-western region are going to give the cuddly bears clearly labelled food baskets to choose their food from.
