Allegedly drunk cop caught on camera
This footage was originally posted on Facebook yesterday by Durban motorist Phil Tomlinson.
In the video, a man is heard questioning a police officer - who is sitting in his white VW on the side of the road.
The man accuses the police officer, who is in uniform, of being drunk and nearly causing an accident.
"You're drunk, you're pissed. Give me your card!" he says.
The officer, who is reportedly stationed at the Pinetown police station, is seen smoking out the window of his car with his gun on his lap. At one point he tries to cover his face, before reversing and driving away.
Tomlinson commented on Facebook, saying: "He tried to drive my son off the road... the cop even tried to run him over but he is ok."
