Adoptees of the week
Updated | By Abi Ray
There are so many animals sitting in shelters all over Kwazulu Natal just waiting for a loving family to take them home.
The sad fact is that animals get lost, abandoned or even worse, abused, all the time.
The ones who are lucky enough to get rescued end up sitting in shelters for months because people think that they aren't good enough, simply because they aren't bought from a breeder or a shop.
The 'Adopt don't shop' stance is one that I truly believe in, and therefore will feature a few adoptees from various shelters in KZN, every week on Animal Antics.
There are contact details for each little furkid, so if you are willing to love and care for one of these animals for the rest of their life, please dont hesitate to call.
There will be a small adoption fee as well as a compulsary home check.
1. Tyson - Phoenix Animal Care & Treatment
Tyson is a beautiful 2 year old chow cross. One glimpse of Tyson and you can't help but fall in love with his adorable face and "teddy bear" like coat . However, Tyson has not been able to catch a break. He was surrendered to PACT by his owners when they decided that they just didn't want Tyson and his mommy Tazz anymore. His mommy was homed but poor Tyson has been stuck in the kennels ever since. He is not coping well and needs a yard to run around and play in before the stress of being locked up all the time damages him.
