Adoptees of the week
There are so many animals sitting in shelters all over Kwazulu Natal just waiting for a loving family to take them home.
The sad fact is that animals get lost, abandoned or even worse, abused, all the time.
The ones who are lucky enough to get rescued end up sitting in shelters for months because people think that they aren't good enough, simply because they aren't bought from a breeder or a shop.
The 'Adopt don't shop' stance is one that I truly believe in, and therefore will feature a few adoptees from various shelters in KZN, every week on Animal Antics.
There are contact details for each little furkid, so if you are willing to love and care for one of these animals for the rest of their life, please dont hesitate to call.
There will be a small adoption fee as well as a compulsary home check.
1. Aries - Phoenix Animal Care & Treatment
He is a 1yr male maltese poodle. Aries was picked up a few months ago after his rescuers found children trying to set him on fire! He is a very lovable little boy who is just craving attention and affection.
He is good with other dogs but they are not sure how he is with cats.

2. Avo - Project Dog
Avo is a 2 year old male collie cross. He has been in boarding kennels since August last year.
He is a medium size dog and is excellent with people but does not like other dogs or cats!
His rescuers found him tied to an avocado tree, hence his name. That was the life he had from when he was a tiny puppy!
He will make someone very happy, he is very friendly and playful, very alert!

3. Rosie - 4 Paws & Tale Rescue
Rosie has been waiting for a loving family for a year. She is a three year old mix breed beauty. She is spayed and loves people, and of course play and snooze time! She is not however good with smaller dogs or cats.
