Winning start for Jordy in France

Jordy Smith has made a winning start at the Quiksilver Pro France.

Smith this afternoon won a first round heat also featuring Bede Durbridge and Mitch Crews.
The SA surfer was recently crowned champion at the Hurley Pro in California.
Durban surfer, Travis Logie, ended second in his first round heat in France.
The heat was won by Taj Burrow.
Kelly Slater and Mick Fanning also had to settle for second in their opening heats.
