Weekend ironman road closures

Standard Bank IRONMAN 70.3 Durban will take place this Sunday. The event has drawn 3 000 competitors and will require road closures.
The following roads will be closed to all public vehicles from 05:00 – 14:00 on Sunday 19 June 2016:
Snell Parade from the circle at Bike & Bean to Suncoast main entrance.
Athlone Drive onto the M4.
The M4 Ruth First Highway from the M17 Sandile Thusi Road intersection to the 1st Zimbali Circle (Northbound) and
M4 from Zimbali Circle back to the M41 at La Lucia (Southbound).
ROADS OPEN DURING THE EVENT:
The M41 on-ramp from Gateway and La Lucia / Umhlanga Ridge onto the M4, towards the city (Southbound).
CROSS-OVERS ONLY FOR RESIDENTS ON RACE DAY: Local Resident cross-over points will be available at the following circles:
S Dune/South Beach circle
M43/Watson Highway circle
Malcolm Welfare/Westbrook circle
M4/1st Zimbali circle
Any vehicles from the 4 x suburbs at the cross-over circles above must cross over under guidance from the Traffic officials and assistance of volunteers - and continue up to the N2 or alternatively on the R102 to Tongaat should they wish to access the city.
