Julian Jackson is a former WBA light middleweight and WBC middleweight boxing world champion. Jackson is considered one of the most devastating punchers of all time.
Jackson won 55 of his 61 professional bouts.
He ended 49 of his 55 victories inside the distance.
Jackson first challenged for the WBA light middleweight title in 1986.
He fought the experienced Mike McCallum in this bout and hurt the champion in the opening round.
However, McCallum survived and went on to stop Jackson in the second round.
Jackson later won the vacant WBA light middleweight crown and made three successful defences.
One of them was a second round stoppage of future three time world champion Terry Norris.
