With the final Major in golf coming to the end this past Saturday, American Justin Thomas was celebrating his maiden major title while for Louis Oosthuizen it was yet another frustrating final round in a major.
When the players tee'd off at Quail Hollow on Thursday, Jordan Spieth was looking to become the youngest player to complete a career grandslam after winning The Open Championship last month but it was South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen who completed a career grand slam of his own with his second-place finish at the PGA Championship.
Oosthuizen, who finished tied for second behind Justin Thomas alongside Francesco Molinari and Patrick Reed, lost a playoff to Bubba Watson at the 2012 Masters, another playoff to Zach Johnson at the British Open in 2015 and tied for second behind Dustin Johnson at that year's US Open too.
In typical South African style, Oosthuizen took to twitter in celebrating this unique achievement.
