WATCH - Fishing for red drum
Updated | By Andre Bloem
The red drum is a fish species also known as redfish or channel bass. These gamefish are found in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The red drum is a cousin to the black drum.

Both red and black drum make a croaking or drumming sound when they are distressed.
The biggest red drum I have heard of weighed around 40kg.
Today we join Captain Blair Wiggins in pursuit of red drum and trout in Texas.
