Ward not keen to face Deysel

Jeremy Ward is on the Cell C Sharks bench for their opening Vodacom Super Rugby clash with the Reds.

Ward, who is only 21, recently joined the Sharks from the EP Kings.
We caught up with the centre for a brief chat.
Who was your favourite player growing up and why?
Jacques Fourie, Jean de Villiers and Brian O'Driscoll. I love the way they played the game.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Captaining the Junior Springboks and scoring on my Cell C Sharks debut.
Which player would you love to play alongside?
Brian O'Driscoll or Ma'a Nonu.
Which player would you hate to play against?
Jean Deysel.
At what point did you decide that you wanted to become a professional rugby player?
For as long as I can remember.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always tie my right boot first. I also touch the line and say the same prayer when I run on.
Which is your favourite stadium to play at besides Growthpoint Kings Park?
Nelson Mandela Bay - It is where I grew up.
What do you plan to do after rugby?
I would like to stay involved in the game by coaching and teaching. I also hope to finish my accounting degree.
What is your favourite movie?
Gladiator.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
St Francis Bay.
Where did you matriculate?
Grey High School in Port Elizabeth.
Who is your favourite singer or band?
Ed Sheeran.
What is your favourite meal?
Steak.
