VIDEO:Ronaldo claims Cup for Real in Cardiff
Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show as Real Madrid defeated Sevilla to win the European Super Cup last night.
Real Madrid defeated their Spanish rivals Sevilla 2-0 in Gareth Bale's hometown.
The Super Cup is contested by the winners of the Uefa Champions League and the winners of the Europa League.
Ronaldo scored both goals in Wales.
Carlo Ancelotti included his new signings Tony Kroos and James Rodriquez in the starting line-up.
Kroos was part of Germany's World Cup winning squad and Rodriquez won the golden boot at the Brazilian showpiece.
Madrid will kickoff their La Liga season with a clash against Cordoba on August 25 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
