The West Indies pulled off arguably one of the greatest ever final over moments in cricket on their way to capturing there 2nd World T20 title.
The first thing is to loudly applaud West Indies cricket on a golden day. The women were magnificent. The men more than matched them. The finish was a miracle: a thing of devastating power, of a certain beauty, and of destiny.
A team that had the toughest road to the tournament , the West Indies had no financial backing from their board, were described as a nonsense team and many would of never given them the chance of even making it out of the pool stages.
West Indies, who were 11-3 in pursuit of England's 155-9, needed 19 off the final over to win and did it in style.
Marlon Samuels' 85 not out kept them in contention before Brathwaite's match-winning blitz off Ben Stokes.
Making his world cup debut Brathwaite smashed four sixes in the final over a knock that will forever be remembered in the cricket world.
Finals are all about having "BMT" and the ability to perform under pressure and boy did the Windies just do that.
Hats off to England they gave it there all but effort sometimes is just not good enough ..
