VIDEO: Spectacular tarpon fishing
American fishing personality, Captain Blair Wiggins, refers to tarpon as the silver king.
These fish can reach about 140kg in weight and are powerful and acrobatic fighters.
They are a favourite target species in the US state of Florida.
Tarpon are also found in places like Cuba and Angola.
They feed on other fish and also crustaceans and squid.
Our footage today is of anglers targeting tarpon with flies.
These are not the biggest tarpon I have seen, but they still have enough power to deliver a stunning show.
