VIDEO: Seychelles milkfish action
Updated | By Staff Writer

This species feeds on algae and milkfish are sometimes hooked when targeting mullet.
Hooking a milkfish on mullet tackle is an interesting experience to say the least.
Milkies are much more powerful and also tend to be much bigger than your average mullet here in Durban.
This can produce a rather lopsided battle for an angler finding a milky on the end of a line geared for mullet.
However, the anglers in our footage below do not hook into milkfish by accident.
They fish the Seychelles flats with milkfish very much in mind.
