VIDEO: Sailfish from a kayak
Sailfish are found in KZN waters and we have footage of one caught from a kayak off Durban.
These fish can reach up to 3 metres in length and larger specimens can weigh as much as 90 kilograms.
Sailfish can swim at speeds of just over 100 kilometres per hour and tend to feed on both fish and squid.
Sailfish are spectacular fighters and are known to produce some awesome jumps.
They prefer warmer water and are a popular target for anglers around the world.
