VIDEO: Pink rod lands a big fish
Our fishing footage today features a clash of colours with a pink rod used in pursuit of redfish.
I remember fondly taking my wife deep sea fishing last December.
We ended up catching a lovely dorado close to the container vessels off Umhlanga, but only after my wife almost fed the fish on several occasions.
Luckily she adapted well after feeling horribly sea-sick during the first two hours or so.
I hope to take her out on the ocean again in the near future.
Today we see Captain Blair Wiggins also fishing in the company of a female.
He even had pink rods made especially for the occasion.
The water is pretty calm and a far cry from the open ocean swell that had my wife feeling decidedly shaky on her debut trip.
