VIDEO: Mackerel action from a pier

A fisherman helps himself to mackerel from a pier in the USA.

The grappling hook is not the traditional gaff we are used to here in KZN.

Two lovely Spanish mackerel on two modest baits.

It looks a lovely place to fish - but gaffing a really big one off this pier may prove rather tricky.
