*Video* Hammerhead chomps kayak

Anglers are given a scare by a hammerhead shark off Pompano Beach in Florida.

It seems the shark was keen to taste kayak and was not afraid to take a bite.

Hammerhead sharks tend to swim in schools in the day, while often hunting solo after dark.

There are different species of hammerhead.

These sharks are especially fond of eating stingrays.
