VIDEO: GT monsters in Oman

Anglers find themselves locking horns with very large giant trevally off Oman.

Monsters snapping up poppers in some awesome conditions.

Giant trevally can weigh up to 80kgs and they are well known for their power and fighting ability.

On the South African coast these fish tend to be most active at dawn and dusk.

They have been caught at many Durban fishing spots with live shad, karanteen and blacktail among the baits they feed on.
