GT are known to be immensely powerful and dirty fighters.
They are famous for using reefs to cut through your line.
In the footage below you will see that even a lure can be broken by these legendary sluggers of the sea.
I remember having a hook snapped during a battle with a GT at Brighton Beach on the Bluff.
These fish are often caught on poppers in Oman.
