VIDEO: Fishing for a silver king
It has been a while since I last shared tarpon fishing footage with you.
This species is possibly my favourite.
They produce such a spectacular battle.
Tarpon can weigh up to 140kg and can be caught off Angola.
They tend to feed on other fish and also crustaceans such as crab and shrimp.
I guess it is fair to say that Captain Blair Wiggins almost always comes to mind when I think about tarpon.
The American TV personality refers to tarpon as the silver king and has shown us footage of many of these fish being caught and released.
Captain Wiggins calls Florida home and it is to this US state that we go for another glimpse of what tarpon have to offer those who enjoy angling.
