The domestic T20 champions arrived to heroes reception as fans came in their numbers to welcome the team back in the province after their emphatic two-run victory over the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras in Cape Town on Sunday.

All-rounder, Daryn Smit, speaks about how it has been a "whirlwind weekend and that he is really proud of his teammates."

Skipper, Morne Van Wyk, says he is "really proud of the boys, each and every team member played a significant role in winning the title."

The Dolphins will be in action this week.

They take on the Chevrolet Warriors in the Sunfoil Series.

The four-day match is scheduled to start at 10h00 at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Thursday.
