VIDEO: Catching drum on crab
Anglers in Florida use sight fishing to present a black drum with a bite of crab.
The drum sure reminds me of the brusher we catch here in KwaZulu-Natal.
Brusher certainly enjoy feeding on crab and I have also seen them caught on sea lice out on the Bluff in Durban.
The best time for brusher in KZN is probably August and September.
The big difference in Florida is that you can see your drum and present your bait.
This greatly enhances your chances of catching the fish.
