*Video* Angler battles roosterfish

A fisherman is given a heavy workout by a monster rooster.

The average roosterfish caught weighs in at about 9kg - this one is clearly not an average specimen.

These fish are found in the warmer waters of the eastern Pacific and are famous for their fighting ability.

The rooster is not considered a great eating fish.

They are most commonly caught off Ecuador.
