VIDEO: Andre catches two garrick
We landed seven garrick and two GT in two hours on the water.
These fish were landed on both live pinky and artificial baits.
My largest garrick weighed 11kg, while Brad Arthur pipped me with one of 12kg just as we were about to leave.
Eight of the nine fish we caught were released and we tagged several of them to assist with research into their lifestyles and movements.
Mark de la Hey and I hoped to also have tuna footage to show you, but we drew a blank off Durban earlier this week. This despite the presence of many dolphins and some good live and artificial bait.
So you will have to be satisfied with what is some awesome garrick fishing footage.
