The Dolphins successfully chased a target of 272 to beat the Cobras by four wickets.

The Dolphins will play their next Momentum One Day Cup match tomorrow.

That is when they will host the Warriors at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in Durban.

Van Jaarsveld believes his recent good form stems from a belief in what he is doing with bat in hand.

"I am watching the ball and trusting the preparations that I am going through. It is also about backing your skills," he said.

The Warriors thumped the Dolphins by 130 runs in Momentum One Day Cup action in Port Elizabeth recently.

Van Jaarsveld feels lessons were learnt in PE.

"We learnt quite a lot, but we don't like to harp on the past. We would like to bounce back and want to put in a clinical performance and show our home fans exactly what we are about," Van Jaarsveld added.

Van Jaarsveld believes the pitch in Durban tomorrow should be good for both batting and bowling.

"I am expecting a good cricket wicket. There should be something for both the batsmen and the bowlers tomorrow," he said.

Van Jaarsveld admits that he was disappointed at not turning his 59 into a bigger score in Paarl.

"I think every batsman gets to a point when they wonder when the next big score will come. I am just glad I did something for the team. The rest of the guys obviously came to the party and we played very well," Van Jaarsveld concluded.
