Usuthu, Sharks and Boks sparkle

Plenty of action unfolded at the weekend in the Castle Lager Rugby Championship, Absa Currie Cup, Barclay's Premier League, Telkom Knockout Cup, La Liga and Formula 1.

The Boks, Sharks and Amazulu were the pick of the lot. The men in green and gold defeated the All Blacks and ended their two year winning streak.

The Sharks kept their home semifinal hopes alive with a win over the Golden Lions in Durban and Usuthu are through to the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals following a spirited fightback against Bloem Celtic in KwaMashu.

Castle Lager Rugby Championship:

Absa Currie Cup:

Cell C Sharks 26-23 Golden Lions - Jacques Botes played in a probable last match for the Sharks, it was his 270th appearance.

Telkom Knockout Cup:

Amazulu 3-2 Bloem Celtic

Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 Maritzburg

Barclay's Premier League:
