Travis wins and Jordy not

Travis Logie and Jordy Smith have experienced mixed fortunes at the Volcom Pro Fiji.

Durban surfer, Logie, won his first round heat, while Smith was last in his opening clash with Sebastian Zietz and Fredrick Patacchia.

Logie defeated Yadin Nicol and Taj Burrow in Tavarua.

World championship leader, Adriano de Souza, ended last in his first round heat.

Smith is currently second in the championship standings.
