Golden Arrows will be up against Maritzburg United at the Princess Magogo Stadium.

Kickoff is at 15h00.

Arrows beat Maritzburg 1-0 in ABSA Premiership action last weekend.

Maritzburg midfielder, Kurt Lentjies, feels lessons were learnt in the league defeat.

"Of course we need to learn from mistakes made on match-day. We are aware that a KZN derby is always likely to be tough. I feel we have learnt from our mistakes in the league defeat and we are looking to rectify things in the cup game on Sunday," Lentjies said.

Maritzburg are tenth in the league standings and Lentjies believes good teamwork has helped them this season.

"Our togetherness has been good this season. We have worked well as a team in achieving our goals. This has not always been the case in the past. Our team spirit is good and there is a good mood within the camp. The guys are always positive and the senior players are always trying to pull the other guys in the right direction," Lentjies added.

Arrows and Maritzburg are not the only KZN clubs on the Nedbank Cup menu this weekend.

KwaDukuza United will be in action tomorrow.

They will host Ajax Cape Town at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

Kickoff in Clermont is at 15h00.

Amazulu and Royal Eagles both have Nedbank Cup dates next week Wednesday.

Amazulu will see action at Platinum Stars, while Eagles will host Supersport United.
