St Lucia swamped with shad
Updated | By Staff Writer

On the rock and surf front, Kosi Bay seems to be experiencing a quieter spell with very few fish coming out, according to the Kingfisher guys.
The smaller McArthy Paddle tails have been put to good use targeting Wave Garrick, especially in the rolling water. Although the majority of the fish that have been caught are less than half a kg.
There are still large numbers of Shad at St Lucia and Cape Vidal, whilst the old St Lucia mouth has also been producing some Kob on Redeye and Chokka baits in the late evening and into the night.
As the summer months progress the non-edible Anglers will be itching to fish the Mapelane area for the bigger Sand Sharks and Flat fish.
Its going to be a cool Monday in Durban with a 30% chance of rain showers and light variable winds blowing.
