Sports anchor suspended over tweet

E News Channel Africa has suspended sports anchor Lance Witten for a comment he posted on Twitter.
ENCA head of news Patrick Conroy said the comments were about the death of a woman at last night's Linkin Park concert in Cape Town.
Witten tweeted: "Linkin Park is so badass, people are dying to see 'em."
The woman was killed and 19 people were injured when temporary scaffolding collapsed at the Cape Town stadium where the band was performing.
"Our hearts go out to the family and friends of the young woman who lost her life, and all those who were injured in this terrible accident," said Conroy.
Earlier, ENCA tweeted: "NOTE: Witten’s comments do not reflect the views or values of our company. An internal inquiry into Mr Witten’s comments will be conducted."
Witten has since deleted the tweet.
