The next Durban Beach Clean Up is taking place this Saturday morning at Addington Beach from 09h00 to 11h00.

Everyone is invited to take part in this great initiative. Please meet up under the Quiksilver gazebo opposite Addington Hospital.

An update has come through from Digger at Blue Juice Dive & Surf Adventures in Sodwana.

Apparently divers have been enjoying 15-20m visibility with a N-S current running.

The fun hasn’t stopped there with local surfers making the most of the 3-4ft surf that they have had on offer.  The fishing has been good up north too with barracuda and tuna feeding.

We have a minimum temperature of 16 degrees and a maximum of 25 in Durban today with light SW winds this morning and SSW winds later peaking at 19km/hr. It’s going to be partly cloudy this morning with a 30% chance of rain this evening.

There is still some swell around so surfers should make the most of it with today’s offshores. It looks like the rot will set in soon with some NEs forecast for later in the week.
