The much-anticipated Durban Fishing Festival is on this weekend - that is 30 and 31 March. There will be free educational clinics by top rock-and-surf angling professionals. Competition registration is on the 30th between 9am and 4pm. It is going to be good fun for the entire family. Lucky draws are on throughout the day on Saturday with the competition starting at 05h30 on Sunday.

March 30 will see some of South Africa’s hottest bands taking the stage at the first ever Cell C Teen Fusion Party at the Wave House. The event will be the biggest party for under 18s in Durban’s history and party-goers will also be able to flowboard the standing waves until late. The line-up includes 5fm’s Poppy, Young Prince, Toya Delazy and Spindocta. Tickets for the U18 Teen Fusion Party can be bought at Computicket.

There is a 30% chance of rain in the early morning today. Thundershowers are expected later on Tuesday with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees. We have on-shore winds with NE’s of 20 to 28km/hr forecast to blow. So conditions are not really ideal for the beach today. It’s perhaps a good time to get some work done or to catch up with household chores.

Join us tomorrow for an update about the Hibberdene Ski Boat Club event happening this weekend.
