Smit ignored by Dolphins
Sunfoil Dolphins will start their Ram Slam T20 challenge in Johannesburg on Sunday.
That is when they will meet the Bizhub Highveld Lions.
The match is scheduled to get underway at six o'clock in the evening.
Veteran all-rounder, Daryn Smit, has not been picked for the game at Bidvest Wanderers.
Dwayne Bravo is another who will not be involved for the Dolphins this weekend.
Bravo is unavailable for their opening fixture.
Younis Khan, meanwhile, did see plenty of action in Abu Dhabi today.
Younis was eventually dismissed for 213 on day two of the second and final Test between Pakistan and Australia.
Younis passed 8 000 Test runs during his innings today.
