The Cell C Sharks have rotated their front row for their second clash against the Kings this season.

As the Super Rugby season ticks along, the Sharks have a good opportunity to rest a couple of their overworked players this weekend and the brains trust has opted to do just that.

The Sharks front row is completely changed this weekend, with Dale Chadwick, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Lourens Adriaanse entrusted in the starting lineup. Beast Mtawarira, Franco Marais and Coenie Oosthuizen enjoy a well-earned rest while young Juan Schoemann and Thomas du Toit provide prop cover off the bench.

Etienne Oosthuizen is back in the starting lineup this weekend, renewing his lock pairing with Stephan Lewies. Meanwhile Jean-Luc du Preez returns to blindside flank in place of Jean Deysel, who is recovering from a neck injury after the Sharks’ win over the Jaguares.

Michael Claassens was a surprise omission from the starting lineup in Buenos Aires. The scrumhalf was pulled out of the match at the eleventh hour after picking up a groin strain in their final practice session. He has recovered and returns to the starting XV.

The rest of the backline remains unchanged except for the return of Lwazi Mvovo. Pat Lambie steers the ship at flyhalf once again and continues his captaincy.

Sharks team (15-1): Willie le Roux, JP Pietersen, Paul Jordaan, Andre Esterhuizen, Lwazi Mvovo, Pat Lambie, Michael Claassens, Dan du Preez, Jean-Luc du Preez, Keegan Daniel, Stephan Lewies, Etienne Oosthuizen, Lourens Adriaanse, Chiliboy Ralepelle, Dale Chadwick.

Replacements: Kyle Cooper, Juan Schoeman, Thomas du Toit, Giant Mtyanda, Tera Mtembu, Stefan Ungerer, Garth April, Odwa Ndungane.
