Sharks name France tour squad

Cell C Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold named a 32-man squad that will depart for France for a two match preseason tour.

The squad will depart on Monday, February 1 to France where they will face Toulon and Toulouse.
The first match on tour is against Toulon next Friday, February 5.
After a short turnaround, the side will face Toulouse the following Thursday, 11th February.
The players listed below will form part of the touring squad to France:

The Sharks are set to field two different looking teams for both games. Director of Rugby Gary Gold hopes the tour will serve as an important gauge of their readiness for Super Rugby, while being able to look at some new players and combinations.
“We're looking forward to this tour. We have had a good preseason and we're eager to test combinations and get some game time under our belt. The quality of opposition we will be facing will ensure that we get the necessary preparation we require ahead of the start of our Super Rugby campaign.”
A number of players that will form part of the Sharks' provisional Super Rugby squad have been left out of the tour due to injury.
