Sharks CEO - comment next week
Updated | By Andre Bloem
The Sharks will only comment next week on speculation concerning their CEO post.
Media reports suggest that John Smit will replace Brian van Zyl as Sharks chief executive and that Smit could take over later this year.
The Sharks have neither confirmed nor denied the claim.
Steven Saad, chairman of the Sharks board of directors, says the board will be convening this coming Monday - 15 April.
They will release a statement the day after the board meeting.
Smit, a former Sharks and Springbok captain, is currently based in London.
Current CEO, Van Zyl, is due to retire early next year.
