Schumacher in survival battle
French doctors have been quoted as saying that Michael Schumacher is fighting for his life.
Schumacher remains in an induced coma after having brain surgery.
The 44-year-old suffered head injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps yesterday.
Schumacher hit his head against a rock while skiing with his son.
Schumacher was wearing a helmet, but still suffered damage to the right side of his brain.
Doctors believe that without the helmet Schumacher would most likely not have survived the impact yesterday.
